Using logic (which Cubs don't usually do), Koronka is not here to start. The next two starters are Maddux and Zambrano, so unless Zambrano is missing a start (aka someone killed him), he'd have been called up to sit and wait for Williams or Hill's spot. That is just not done, so I think If they are bumping out Williams or Hill, he's a place holder/fresh arm for the ragged bullpen until Saturday or Monday. Maybe we'll see Pinto's big league debut on Monday (his day to pitch). He's the only healthy/non-terrible starting pitcher on the 40-man that could be called on.
