    Positives - Burny was 3-4, Williams pitched 6IP/3ER which is great for a 5th starter, Aram hit a bomb, Koronka was able to come in and get an out. I only saw from the 6th -> end, but still not a total loss of a day. and you can't get TOO upset losing to a Cy Young Candidate.

    Fox says that it's lightening up, and they hope to get it started in 45 min. Interesting thing is if they don't get it in soon, Fox would probably have to dump it and there would be no TV coverage.

    While it wouldn't surprise me if they skip Williams, I doubt the Cards would skip Carp. So (if canceled) tomorrow would be Prior v. Carpenter.

    omgz here comes da cobs, cobs now tied for 3rd in the central with the mighty brew crew, and tied for 6th in the wild card.

    GO DUKE! Not necessarily to help the Cubs (because there is no helping them) but from what i've seen of Duke he looks like a stud. Ollie Perez/Zach Duke is pretty scary going 1-2 next year.

    Yeah, that strike zone is getting elusive all of a sudden. Nunez gave him a gift with the popup, but didn't he go 3 balls with Pujols and Edmonds? he only threw 2 pitches to Pujols.

    You're slippin Fred, Z's had another start vs. STL this year. :)

    He's able to hitt 100 in an inning of work, because his shoulder problems supposedly (I say supposedly because this is what the Cubs are saying) happen afters he's made 40-60 pitches. Knowing that he only has to pitch for 1 inning, he is able to let it all hang out and not worry about conserving for later innings. So there is a spike in velocity.

    Just when we feel confident that the Cubs have found every single way to lose a game in one season, the Angels find one that the Cubs haven't done (yet).

    I believe Rohilicek has Remlinger like reverse splits, so I want him nowhere near Dusty.
