    I have Vista, and while I certainly expected more, I've had no major problems. that shouldn't be how you respond to that, though. the best thing about an OS that can be said shouldn't be, "well, it hasn't caused me any major problems."

    Brewerfan is a good place to read up on the MLB Draft. The Hardball Times also has minor league stuff posted on occasion. Minor League Splits is really helpful for nuanced stats. Baseball-Reference has a minor league section. During the course of the season, this forum is hopping. We have a bunch of posters who are involved in baseball in a variety of capacities (announcers, writers, scouts, etc.). Plus, we have daily threads dedicated to minor league box scores and people who are following the game. Word up. Thanks! firstinning.com is really good.

    that's just a ridiculous statement. Sorry we can't put a number on it so you could understand it. well, sure, when you just pull stuff out of your ass, it's hard to put a number on it. You are as bad as Joe Morgan. You only accept once thing just as he does and it's pretty funny when you think about it. I'd pull the I do this for a living card but I'm sure you'd cry about that and ask me for a number to prove that as well. I'd hate to be as narrow minded and self righteous as you are. i'm pretty sure saying that someone is "as bad as Joe Morgan" is a personal attack. maybe you should practice what you preach, eh?

    you must really hate mark prior. i hope the reds sign mark prior. i hope he goes on to dominate the cubs every time he pitches against them. i'll probably go up to GAB to watch his first game. i'll cheer him on for the rest of what i hope will be a productive career. to everyone that keeps calling him a wuss and all that: i'd love to see you pitch in a slow-pitch softball league with the shoulder injuries that mark prior had.

    you can thank tubby smith for most of that. he left the team with nothing. the fact that meeks and jasper are hurt doesn't help things, either. patterson can't do everything inside.

    when you're a fan of a football program like Kentucky's, non-BCS bowls are still pretty big. after the 6-1 start, i'd thought they do better than a return trip to the Music City Bowl, but oh well. better than nothing, i guess.

    one more to thing to add: i've never liked vitale or anything, but i absolutely hate him after this game. he spent the entire second half talking about Tubby Smith and how UK fans should be ashamed for running him out of town and all that. UK should do anything in its power to keep him from calling another UK basketball game.

    UK got it to a respectable score there at the end of the game, but UNC was in total control from the start of the second half on. the loss of meeks and jasper hurts, but UK won't be a good team until Gillispie gets a legitimate big man to go along with Patterson inside.

    UK got a tough win over Texas Southern today, 83-35. at least one of UK's teams won :(

    i feel sick. UK has not beaten Tennessee in my lifetime. this was our best team in a while... i can't believe that FG was blocked. blah. lots of weird penalties and such, though.
