  1. That drives me absolutely bonkers. I'm not making any sort of scientific claims here, but it seems like the Cubs do it far more often than it should happen.
  2. It just gives us another full day to be at each others throats.
  3. Guess who also isn't good at baseball. Blake DeWitt.
  4. Who are the projected starters for Sunday? I'm going to be in attendance.
  5. I was kidding. Calm down. We shouldn't have any problems handling Galarraga. Perhaps I should have used the green font.
  6. Crap, this guy threw a perfect game last year. Well, we're screwed.
  7. Wow, so this is what being above .500 feels like.
  8. Sounds good. Thanks. By "play" does he mean "start", or be available to PH?
  9. why not just assume the worst and then bemoan how it could only happen to the cubs? Or you could just answer the question and not be a jackass.
  10. Has there been any word on how long Pena's supposed to be out?
  11. They are taking whoever they feel is the best player. Sorry, that's a vague response, but it's true. If I had to place a bet, I would guess either OLB on the other side of Matthews (Brooks Reed, Akeem Ayers if he's there) or a DE (Cam Heyward, Muhammad Wilkerson if he's there). But I could also see them picking OT, CB, WR, or a longshot of RB (if Ingram falls or they really like LeShoure/Ryan Williams). Awesome. Thanks for the info! Where does Clay Matthew's little brother project to go?
  12. It doesn't surprise me if it's true. At least to me (and I know to an awful lot of people here) it seemed like Lou just plain didn't give a damn anymore.
  13. Kind of like when I post things in the game threads that I know I'm not the only one thinking it? Yeah, I think it's kinda like that.
  14. There, that wasn't so hard, was it? you are this much of a pain and then you mock TT when he finally gives in? if TT had the trigger than 90% of the rest of us have, you'd be long gone. I wasn't mocking anyone. I asked for clarification, he gave it. If you have that much of a problem with me, what's stopping you? And if you ban me, there's about 4 or 5 others you'd have to ban as well. And again about dredging things up... geez. You guys really want to go around on this again, judging by how this keeps coming to light. I've moved on. I'm sorry that nobody else can. TT even said it wasn't meant to be an adversarial thing, and it no longer is, at least not to me. Apparently it still is to some people. wtf is this nonsense Next time i'll use smaller words so you can understand it
  15. Mike Fontenot May 28th of last year against St. Louis. Dunston had 3 once didn't he?? Charlie Hollocher, Ernie Banks, and Shawon Dunston all had 3 triples in one game for the Cubs. I remember the Dunston game.
  16. This. I've forgotten what that feels like.
  17. If we make it 3 in a row, I'll post a picture of a gorilla giving the finger.

  19. Because whenever there's an opinion nobody asked for, there's Truffle.
  20. are you kidding me with this? Uh..... no. I'm not. I guess I just don't hate him nearly as much as everyone else does and I don't understand exactly why. So he said some things on his way out the door. It just seems kind of childish to me to be like LOL THERIOT STRUCK OUT 14 TIMES THIS WEEK AND MADE 6 ERRORS LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL HE Sox, but to each his own, I guess.
  21. At least in Road victories... Pirates won 17 total road games last year. Five were in Wrigley. But he was predicting 2011, where he was being negative about the future outcome of this season. That's all I'm saying. I've proven my point. I'm done. Yeah, but your point was ass and can only be proven through madness. And I have no idea why you only focused on road games. Derwood was talking about how the Pirates won around 20% of their total victories last season against the Cubs. Wow, are you really so desperate to get the last word in that you have to dredge this up? It's done. It's over. Everyone has said everything there is to say. Do what the Beatles said, and Let it Be.
  22. People are sick of paying top dollar for a less-than-top product. Plus it was cold and a Monday early in the season.
