  1. Settle down, Aramis. The best revenge would be to take him deep.
  2. Anyone know what our record is since June 1st, and how it compares to the other teams? If we're not the best team in baseball over that stretch I'll be very suprised.
  3. They do things weird out in helL-A
  4. Can we just have one all purpose stickied Dunn thread? Otherwise there will be a bunch more of these threads all polluting the transactions forum. The mods should make one Dunn thread, and any and all things Dunn related can be discussed at great length in there.
  5. Should have walked him. Who cares about Molina? Geez. Why isn't Klesko batting cleanup? Especially against us. Dude kills us. I think managers are far too apprehensive to walk guys if 1st isn't open. The only two guys I'd have justified it for are Barry, and Pudge in the 2003 NLCS.
  6. Should have walked him and taken your chances with the next guy. Who cares if 1st wasn't open?
  7. I remember one in April in 03 or 04, I think, when we were in Pittsburgh and up by a ton, and Dusty left Z in through 7, and let him go like 120 pitches or so. I was in class and following the game online, and it took every ounce of my strength not to burst out in profanity.
  8. That would not be good with Arizona coming in to play. How do the Cubs do against the D'Backs in Chicago. Because they can;t win for the life of them in Arizona. I'm venturing a guess of about .500 in Chicago against the D'backs over the last few years. I think the DBacks give us fits pretty much anywhere.
  9. A dimension of sight.... of sound..... and of mind. A dimension of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. We've fallen into.... the Twilight Zone.
  10. Do any statheads have how long that inning went in minutes and/or pitches?
  11. Nice call, sir. Mercifilly this inning is over. Pat Hughes got a nice long smoke break.
  12. 3-run double for Koyie Hill!! That's it. I'm buying a Powerball ticket.
  13. The Giants caught Cubs disease today. There is no known cure.
  14. That had to be the most embarrassing performance of his life. I feel bad for the guy. Still like being up 5-0, though.
  15. What Z needs is a 1-2-3 inning here. The baine of this team has been giving runs back immediately after a big inning.
  16. So long as the Brewers and Padres lose tonight it's a wash.
  17. Visquel with a big bouncer, run scores. Game over. Goodnight.
  18. Stupid Giants clogging the bases. They need Dusty back so they don't do that anymore.
