  1. Lou...... if it wouldn't get me banned I'd be wishing you'd die in a fire. That fly ball would have scored the run if you weren't a [expletive] idiot.
  2. Are you..... but.... WHAT THE [expletive] [expletive] LOU??? A SQUEEZE?? ARE YOU [expletive] SERIOUS???
  3. I'm usually a Lou defender, but this is dumb as hell here. Cripes. Did Fox [expletive] your wife?
  4. Gotta love being up 3-0 and then striking out.
  5. Would love to win it in regulation here.
  6. I'd have put him on. Playing with fire pitching to him, but thakfully he grounded to 3rd. Walk him next time, though.
  7. And on a night a guy hits 2 grand slams in a game, who also hits a grand slam? Fernando Tatis I love baseball Tatis is still around? I thought he was out of baseball for a few years already.
  8. I guess in case of injury or ejection the replacement pitcher gets as much time as he needs to get warm. I know that's how it is with injury. I don't think you could make him pitch without letting him warm up. The injury risk would be too great and the Union would have a cow.
  9. Not the first time he's gone apecrap. The game at Wrigley in July of 2004 in which the Cubs blew an 8-2 lead and Pujols homered 3 times, Hawkins went OFF and had to be restrained. Until my dying day, I'll say he tried to punch the ump, but one of his teammates grabbed his arm before he could move it forward.
  10. He looked kinda like this http://i102.photobucket.com/albums/m100/fishmaster17/Z.jpg
  11. He's been good. I can't whine about being punked by a crappy pitcher tonight. I'll still whine, just not about that ;) Well, a crappy pitcher having a fluke year.
  12. Do the fans boo his past performance or vigorously cheer his arrival on the mound? Wow, that's a toughie. Now watch, he'll strike out the side on 9 pitches.
  13. Ouch for the ump there. Took a foul ball right to the mask.
  14. Those comments were justified at the time. He had a 12-month period in which he looked washed up and had poor bat speed, etc.
  15. Rammy with a 2-bagger. Keep it going.
  16. Like my dad always used to say when I was a kid: They ought to rip up all the grass at Wrigley Field and lay down newspaper, because on paper the Cubs are the best team in baseball. What are you like 80 years old? Que?
  17. Selig may be reconsidering the whole Rose thing, but ultimately I think he stays banned. It's a huge Pandorra's Box if he reinstates him. Then like I said earlier you have to open up the whole Shoeless Joe argument again, and then the steriod-era guys, who, unlike Rose, used substances to pad their stats, and it's a huge mess. It would be easier for Selig to just keep him banned. I'm not saying that's necessarily what I'm in favor of, but it would be the easiest thing to do.
