    I hope the rumor is true about the guy who streaked the SB in a Borat suit and later removed it. Supposedly, he found a prop bet that whether or not there be a streaker at the event and placed a 50k bet and won over 370k. I doubt it's true but...

    The Bears don't have the line and offensive weapons to compete for a SB even with Brady. Maybe in 2018 with that defense but not the defense that played in 2020.

    I definitely used hyperbole. However, I've brought as many successful QBs to Chicago as Pace has. It is a significant red flag if you're willing to make the 1st splash when your 1st choice isn't among the top 3 of avail. QBs.

    I can't wait to find out that no one even pursued Wentz and a team like Indy gets a better QB in Carr w/out giving up a 1st. But Pace is still learning and like McCaskey, I'll give him some time.

    I actually think Bledsoe is a better fit than Ball. It's unfort the Jazz might be a legit contender b/c I've always loved Conley and he's prob. the best fit for this roster ( upcoming FA) although he's been in the nba since myspace.

    Yes, separating it from my Packers hate, that game would have been a lot of fun. The current matchup is going to be fun, the Buccaneers aren't afraid to sling it. Bruce Arians vs Andy Reed might be the two most fun coaches around. TB went conservative in the 2nd half even with the turnovers. They could do that vs GB, that won't work vs KC. I doubt KC will go to man to man coverage at the end of a half.

    Hopefully MLB does the right thing and retires his number on every team ala Robinson.

    I'm all for them just giving it to Foles, drafting Kenny Pickett from Pitt or Jaime Newman from UGA/WF in rds 2-4 and have him take over in game 3 when Foles gets hurt. Giving up assets for Lock or Darnold makes little sense. As much as I love Stafford, they're strapped for cash.

    Not that I have a very high opinion of what the Bears have done in the last 25 years, but I have a feeling these are a little bit cherry picked. That 1995 starting date is significant I'm betting. 25 years seems like a good starting point. If you want to even out the #s by going back to the 80s when the Bears dominated, you're further showing how the bad the Bears are. If you go back say 20 years or just during the Rodgers tenure, there's not a theme shift compared to 25.

    Nagy will hold them back on offense and Mitch is the perfect QB to do that. Mitch was playing QB for a contract yesterday and couldn't even try for a 1st down on a 4th down scramble. The only thing that they could've kept Nagy was they did play hard for him but now with an issue with the culture of this team, he's done. A poor in-game coach with a poor offensive scheme who can't call games who brings in a DC who can't scheme against a broken QB who elderly and can't throw for more than 5 yards and you play off coverage. They make up for it by having a GM who can't draft. How did that 1st and 2nd Rd combo of Trubisky and Miller do? All trash. horsefeathers em all.

    When did they game plan for Foles to start?

    If they blitz they're done, it means no rush from the front 4 and one on one coverage. They're going to need a similar outing as they did vs TB combined with an ability to disguise blitzes and coverages. If Mack and Quinn play like they have been (minus TB), the Bears are losing 45-20.

    Just when my interest in politics was decreasing and my interest in the Cubs was gaining momentum... Raw, please give us farm reports again... This is either an expected haul for a #2-#3 starter or a trade deadline deal without many matches. This doesn't compute.

    The only thing Bears fans love more than a backup QB is a white RB no matter how bad they are.

    I started watching football when I was 8. The 1981 Chargers-Dolphins playoff game followed by Montana hitting Clark in the back of the end zone the very next weekend. Two of the greatest NFL games of all time. I was hooked. From the time I was 11 until I was 18, the Bears made the playoffs 7 times, won 6 division titles, went to the conference championship game three times, and won a Super Bowl. In the 29 years since, they’ve made the playoffs 6 times. I remember both those '81 playoff games, but I don't know if I remember watching them at 5 of if I remember them from ESPN Classic or something. I vividly remember watching the '84 Cubs season and the '85 Bears Superbowl (in 1986 technically). But I can't say I vividly remember anything before that. I know I watched football as far back as 1981, but who knows when I became an actual fan. I think we're about a month in age apart and remember watching sports and still remembering it in 83 although I vaguely remember Vince Evens. For some reason, the 84 Bears hurt more than the 84 Cubs.

    Lose out, clean house, and get the best OT. Mitch sucks against Minny and GB. Have Foles back for one more year and let the new regime see how poorly constructed this roster is.

    I'll probably change this 1000x before they actually fire Pace/Nagy and this won't happen but... My ideal scenario would be to raid the Colts.. Throw the sink at Chris Ballard to become Team President. Ed Dobbs-GM Matt Eberflus-HC Marcus Brady-OC Dave Borgonzi-DC
