  1. Blasphemy And will face the Patriots. Because horsefeathers everything Only if Mac Jones takes a cheap shot injuring Alexander, follows up with the Gritty, and Rodgers chokes would I welcome this outcome.
  2. I don't think Belichek with Brady in his prime could win with this team. The only one who doesn't get a free pass is Poles unless you factor the worst thing Eberflus was sending out an injured Fields against ATL and allowing Getsy to call QB draws. We'll see what happens now.
  3. Please don't Tua Fields and sit him. That is all.
  4. I hope we see Terrell Lewis and Ojebudia today. This is what my Bears season has become.
  5. I keep going back and forth on whether to draft Andersen and increase the odds of having that one defensive player to build around. He could be that K Mack or Donald type player on defense who can take over which is hard to find defensively.
  6. It's odd that Fields might save the wrong GM (Please don't think that means I think they should have kept Pace). It's a minimum of a 7 game improvement between now and in 24'. We will have known how he drafts and signs FA by then and no need to prolong the inevitable if he sucks.
  7. I'm in the minority here but I prefer Zander Mueth as far as IL prospects.
  8. Mo Vaughn with the Angels came to mind.
  9. I've always been team "let him get reps" but if they are going to gameplan and playcall and have the personnel that they did Saturday, there's no reason to play him in that mess. If Claypool is a go, I do see the value in getting reps with him and Velus (they should get a ton of targets each). But if no Claypool, there's not much to gain by him playing. Having this lack of talent hurts him more than helps him. What habit is he going to develop beyond throwing into every tight window every pass since no WR can separate?
  10. My picks as far as players and coaches range from poor to awful. Yet, I'm dumb enough to keep throwing out names
  11. I would have sat him and had him in more of a coach mode with developing game plans and maybe call some plays. I would still let him truly run the offense for a half.

    NFL Week 16

Two of the luckiest teams face each other next week. Go Vikings!

    NFL Week 16

That was an epic choke by Tua.
  14. Patrick or Whitehair isn't the answer, Whitehair just saves more cap space.

He led him with his eyes on that one.

    NFL Week 16

He's not terribly accurate, mobile, or great arm strength. He's an avg QB with great WRs.

    NFL Week 16

You get that roughing the passer call based on color of skin and reputation not the actual play.
  18. I be fine with Patrick at C if they cut Whitehair and drafted a G early to replace him (assuming there's a veteran next to the rookie G).
  19. I have been impressed with the progression of Gordon throughout the year. I think he can be a solid #2 corner. The cost difference between a good #2 corner and a good slot corner could help with the FA budget.
  20. You could sign me up for the Carolina one now. There's enough edge rushers between 6-10 who could justify the talent difference with Andersen.
  21. It's down to Mcglinchey or Brown at T. I thought of Jenkins as an elite G who struggled at T.
  22. I with you on this one. I'm all for bringing in a LT and letting him and Borom battle it out for the lesser of weak links at RT. He should be graded on what he brought in, regardless of how little they allocated towards improvement. His draft has been ok but they'll need to become good/great (hit on Brisker and maybe on Sanborn and Gordon) Velus is a bust, Jones while playing better than where he was picked should not be counted on as anything more than a backup swing tackle.
  23. Tepper was the start of the demise.
  24. I'm fine with him out there. He needs as many reps as possible. If he shows signs of cramping or even the slightest injury, pull him. I want them to continue to develop his passing. The better he gets with this subpar group of WRs will only get better with receivers who can actually separate.
  25. I might be wrong here but I can't remember the last coordinator to become a HC from IL, especially a power 5.
