  1. scramble! scramble for a witty retort to your poor player predictions. lol w/e You sure showed him
  2. Is there a quieter crowd in Chicago than the ones for Bulls games? I feel like they've been quiet throughout both of these two games
  3. Is there any way we can institute line changes in basketball, and have Korver/Brewer constantly shifting at half court
  4. Last year he would have gone 0-for-15 was going to respond, but I feel like you're setting up a joke involving math and DRose
  5. The crowd is so quiet in MN. The annoying sound effects and Boozer are all I've heard so far.
  6. LOL in your dreams. There is nothing to suggest the Bears are capable of beating Green Bay, let alone by double digits.
  7. I'm waiting for the first close game we win with Z doing well in relief. All the writers and sports radio morons will be universally praising this [expletive] move. "See? Its paying dividends already!"

  9. lol indeed
  10. Man, I'd be so pissed if the guy we paid a lot of money to turned out to be a useful player for my favorite baseball team!
  11. Does the Sun-Times ever employ sports journalists that don't suck?
  12. Good thing we're not keeping that Milton Bradley guy
  13. I think that's the first time I've heard sucky in about a decade
  14. While the move has no effect on the Cubs, I find it interesting. Hairston has been quietly having a good year for himself, and it makes me wonder, if they are aquiring a player like Hairston, could it mean they are trying to win and dont intend to deal Holliday? And on the Padres end, with the eariler rumors of Heath Bell to the Cubs, could the Padres have dalth Hairston with the intent of replaceing him with a younger outfielder, say Sam Fuld or Jake Fox? No.
  15. That was hilarious
  16. Why not? I'd give up Jeff Samardzija for Jake Peavy in a heartbeat. Even if Samardzija reached his ceiling, which is pretty unlikely, he'll never be as good at pitching as Jake Peavy.
  17. Ask the 2004 Red Sox if they've heard of Mark Bellhorn. BoSox could name you everybody from that team from Martinez to Papelbon to Mueller to Youk. So that proves nothing. If they named those four guys as being on the 2004 team, they wouldn't have known the roster very well.
  18. I just wanted to make sure this isn't lost in this thread somehow. The Padres are 55-88, good for a .385 winning percentage. The Reds are 64-79, that's a .448 winning percentage.
  19. Nah, ESPN was just messing with you.
  20. Gosh, how do I put this nicely without promoting an attack or coming across as an arrogant know it all? Please don't take this the wrong way. That is what she is supposed to say to you and doesn't mean he is working on any deal nor that he will get the message. She does her job well. rhonda's a real pro. Not like that lazy guy in the mailroom, screw that guy
