    Yes, I knew he sucked from watching him play for the A's.

    The runner should have been called out on the play. Cox also got tossed from the game for holding up 4 fingers (4 runs scored after that) to the ump after the inning, the play should have been the 3rd out.

    I thought he had nasty stuff last night. I agree with Goony, several of the walks were pretty much intentional, and the zone was questionable. I thought Rich Hill got some strikes taken away the other night also. On his curve, batters would bail out even though the ball would end up over the plate, and the umpire would call it a ball.

    His BABIP is almost .450, we'll see what kind of numbers he puts up once that falls.

    Yeah, that sounds like a friend doing him a favor, but plenty of people out here shredded him while he was here.

    Man, the 2001 draft was great: Prior, Mauer, Teixeira, Wright, Gomes, Duke, Tracy, Crosby, Bonderman, Lowry, Sisco, Hardy, Haren, Howard, Youkilis... The Cubs did a good job of drafting people that at least made it to the show, but I wish they had snagged some of the position players. :(

    The later rounds got better: Grady Sizemore, Dontrelle Willis, Brandon Webb, Edwin Encarnacion, Garrett Atkins, Cliff Lee...

    If they are legit superstars, it is worth it. It's not worth it if they are just the best guy on the market that year.

    ESPN says (via usa today) that he chose to remain at AAA for the Yanks. I don't get it. "NEWS: May 2 SKINNY: Pena decided to stay with Triple-A Columbus, the USA Today reports."

    What is wrong with that article? In a world full of people like Mike Celizic and Steve Phillips, why are we complaining about someone like Dayn Perry?
