    I bought a game used Juan Cruz A's jersey for $35 at the A's fan fest today. It was a pretty cool sale, they had bats, hats, jerseys, pants, and jackets, all game used.

    I'm going to the White Sox game and the game against the A's at the A's park. I've never been to Spring Training, it should be fun.

    Anyone else a member of this? Anyone else take the current survey on broadcasters? It felt good to give Morgan, Berman, Buck, McCarver and the rest their 1/5 ratings. :lol: I recommended Len Kasper as someone not on their survey.

    I'm off this weekend and had delusions of taking my three year old son to one of the Detroit games, but face value was out of our price range for an impromptu trip like this. I knew scalped tickets would be really high, but I had no idea teams jacked up playoff tickets that much. I'm pretty sure MLB dictates a lot of the pricing for the playoffs. Not that the teams wouldn't gouge you anyway, but it's not entirely their fault. This is true. MLB sets playoff ticket prices. MLB told the A's to open the upper deck also.

    I got home game #3 - which isn't guaranteed. it would be game 5 against the yankees or game 6 against the tigers. terrible managing by gardenhire in my opinion. you have to get nathan into the game there with the bases loaded instead of crain. Agreed. The season is on the line, put your best pitcher in there.

    Yep, placed my ALCS order today. Going for field level tickets, since I'm getting the money back for tomorrow's game. :)

    Bitterness is simply the output of dissapointed fans who actually care about their team. Or that they ran out of Old Style. Well..color me irritated What gives you the right to sit in judgment of Wrigley or its fans? To me? Going to 100 cub games at wrigley. Or did you mean to DCF?

    Your reduced 35,000 seat stadium still has around 10 thousand empty seats every game. For a team in the pennant race. Spin it any way you want....that is pathetic. I guess that's the only thing you can still hold onto. Wow, the Cubs get a lot of people to fill their park and boo their horrible team. Meanwhile, I get to sit behind home plate and watch the A's win another division title. The crowds in Oakland have a ton of energy, they are all into the game, and the food is much better than Wrigley. It's a lot of fun. Plus, the fans are much less bitter.

    Pretty pathetic for a team that has won 90+ games 5 of the last 6 seasons with a 102 and 103 win season in there Oakland has 400,000 people, we don't need a stadium that holds 65,000 people. The A's also wanted to get more advance sales so they could plan better, in the past, people knew they could walk up and get good seats, so that's what they did.
