  2. At least Twitter doesn't look like it was designed with the Geocities Site Builder [tm] http://img.pandawhale.com/post-49374-ashton-kutcher-BURN-gif-Imgur-JCDw.gif Could you find a bigger image next time?
  3. Looks more like word art to me.
  4. I'm not confident with any Emery decision. Hopefully the Bears aren't letting a scout for the Falcons make draft decisions for them.
  5. So, you remembered him a little bit?
  6. Even if this is the plan, why not trade him now and then sign him again in the offseason? Can't trade a "core" member of the team according to Garpax. Standing pat at the trading deadline was all about saving face for the organization. If Garpax traded Gasol, they'd miss the playoffs and look pretty dumb after firing Thibs. I wish they would tank this season and take a chance on getting that lottery ticket again. Try again next year when they are healthy. Assuming they will ever have a healthy season, that is.
  7. Even if this is the plan, why not trade him now and then sign him again in the offseason? I'm guessing his cap hold is low, so bird rights basically. They can sign another FA and then Pau if he wanted to sign here. I thought he wanted more money than they could offer with the early bird rights. I don't want him back either way.

  9. Medellin 2: Electric Boogaloo
  10. Toonster, you're kind of so-so on Torres's defense. I think some scouts like his defense a lot more than you do. Law is one of them. I haven't seen many people placing him into say, Lindor category. I can't say I read Law all that much, so maybe he does view it differently (although I don't recall Law thinking of Torres as elite defensively). I mean, Torres, who I am really high on (I think I even made the comment last year that it wouldn't surprise me if he's our shortstop in a couple years, pushing Addison off) largely projects as above average defensively, solid range (maybe a tick improved), good arms and feet), which is very nice, but my previous point was basically that, to be top 5 overall without elite defensive potential, his power is going to really have to take a step forward (doesn't mean I expect Torres power projection to jump, just that it likely needs to start developing) unless for some reason it's a really, really down year in the farm. Here's what he says: "He's very smooth at shortstop already, with plus hands and a plus arm, showing me in Myrtle Beach's playoff series against Wilmington that he could come across the bag well on a difficult double play."
  11. Yeah, let's face it: the poll choices here are basically breakfast dessert if you have room for them. If you have the choice and the time, meats and cheeses and eggs and potatoes should be the primary choices. My number one choice is some kind of hash with an egg on top and some good toast on the side.
  12. GTFO of here with that french toast garbage.
  13. The Bulls played Miami well during the regular season when LeBron was there and they have played Cleveland well the last two years too. The playoffs are a whole different game and I would be a little surprised to see them even in the ECF. You'd be surprised to see them in the ECF? Who do you have favored over them? I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make it, but they are the favorite to be there. Despite the last 8 (?) games prior to last night. If they get the 4 seed, they will lose to Cleveland in the second round.
  14. Belgian waffles are awesome and definitely don't need syrup.
  15. Good ones are. At least they are massively harder to make than french toast.
  16. Get rid of the draft and arbitration, they are only there to funnel money from the players to the owners.
  17. You guys are crazy with the french toast love. Pancakes and waffles are both much better. I think top tier pancakes are better than anything, but agree that they are harder to make and not the compilers that french toast and waffles are.
  18. Too many still pictures, not enough gifs.
  19. Senor Gato, eh? Where've you been? I can't keep up with the different names. You have the SQL advantage.
  20. Also props on noticing the burgeoning LHP in the system...would throw Paulino in that group as well, he might hit full season ball this year. Really liked the order of the top 4 and the names on the list in general - I don't miss anyone except Tseng. Senor Gato, eh?
  21. They are sewn on, but they aren't embroidered.
  22. Based on the picture or you've got one or have seen in person? I have a cool base replica from last year. I would have bought an authentic, but they didn't make one of the jersey that I wanted. mlb.com has codes pretty often for 40% off authentics, I'd go for one of those.
  23. The logo is crappy IMO. I think for $100 you should still get a real logo patch.
