    The Rangers getting a new stadium is even more disgusting. I have friends leaving the Arlington DFW area because of it. why would anyone leave because of a new stadium?

    A look back: In 2004, Athletics and Cubs played each other. Cubs were down 2-3 to the Athletics. Michael Barrett doubled in the bottom 9th, scoring Todd Hollandsworth and Todd Walker to win the game 4-3. http://images.cbssports.com/u/photos/baseball/mlb/img7434746.jpg I can't find a clip anywhere, but I'm sure they'll show it sometime during the broadcast with Hollandsworth lounging around CSN and everything.

    Meh, the Olympics suck anyway. Someone on 538 called them "sports packaged for non-sports fans", and that sounds about right to me. I'll probably watch soccer. And baseball when it comes back in 4 years. Definitely have very little interest in the ceremonies. If there's some bit of it worth watching, it'll make its way online. Good luck on the interview though! thanks theres something about the whole world putting down their guns and coming together to cooperate and do something great that makes me feel all fuzzy inside

    Clearly I need to go down the cereal aisle more often. I didnt even know Coco Crispies existed. Ive always had the dilemma of associating him with Cocoa Puffs or Cookie Crisps. I'm surprised he's never done an ad campaign with Kelloggs.

    Am I crazy or didn't we give him some type of role once? ..maybe a couple of years ago around the time the players all came into town for Cubs convention...think he was involved in some sort of instructional capacity. I know he's with the Padres now, though. We did to Maddux under Hendry, but not Prior.
