I bet it's a good game. Especially if the refs allow you to defend. I'm glad I'll be working. :banghead: Me too. I'll DVR it, but I don't have the discipline to not check scores.

I predict we'll get destroyed tonight. We have looked very sloppy so far, and self's teams aren't noted for their November performances.

It's going to be a long year in Manhatten. Yeah, Weber has got them moving in the wrong direction. Last year's success was probably the worst thing that could've happened to KSU because it created a misplaced belief the BW can be successful there.

It's a shame like I really like snood, because the amount of jayhawk tears I'd like to drink in that instance are immesurable and to have to hold back because of him is just so...disappointing. He's probably going to get Oakfor and Turner so don't feel too bad for him. Myles Turner will still be in play, even if we miss on all those guys, which I feel like we might.

I think you are right. I also think KU is going to get the OAK/Jones package. Really? This sort of implies that you are both 80% or so on Cliff to UI. I wish I could be on board with that but I just can't be. I'm thinking 50/50 at best, but not holding my breath. Just trying to read the tea leaves. I probably am wrong. I have a bad feeling that Self is trying to shoot the moon and land Jones/Okafor, and that it has turned off Cliff. I don't think we'll get the package deal. And I kind of like Cliff better than Okafor. But maybe I'd just talked myself into thinking that because I thought we had no shot at Jones and Ikafor.

yeah, not even close. UK would kill us. Kansas beat La Tech, who has a higher RPI than UK. Checkmate. I think your close-ish losses to South Carolina and Louisville are more impressive than our close-ish losses to OU and TCU.

Who you going with, SSR? I'm really torn between SF over ARI and HOU over STL. I'm worried about SF being able to run the ball against the Cardinal D, which is pretty strong. CK will not be able to throw the ball, especially with his receivers. However, HOU looks like it's in a tailspin, and who knows what Schaub will do.

Jets over Pitt is also intriguing. I guess here are the options I'm considering with my concerns in parentheses: SF over ARI (SF has seemed erratic, divisional foe) CHI over NYG (Bears injuries, NY has to win sometime, right?) NYJ over PIT (NYJ coming off road win. Pit has to win sometime, right?) HOU over STL ( Houston isn't very good and Schaub is melting down, but man STL is bad) KC over OAK (divisional)

He was going to be a very good player, too. And he was supposed to be an all-world citizen. I guess young kids like that having a stroke isn't even that uncommon. Sad, scary news.

Child's play. KU just broke a 22-game losing streak to FBS teams. (We lucked out vs La Tech.) We haven't beaten a team from a BCS team since scoring 35 unanswered points to beat Colorado 52-45 on NOVEMBER 6, 2010.

No, I'm not interested in getting fancy like that. I want to make the best pick possible each week, because the people who've tried otherwise have all been bitten by that strategy. I mean, it's week 4, and 19 of the 25 people have already been eliminated.
