    I'd go with, if they ever met on a basketball court, Beas would put TH in a clownsuit. It's a shame the ESPN hype machine has robbed Beasley of his award. And that's not meant to take anything away from TH. I'd kill to have him on KU.

    Self will use this to pry some serious coin from the KU AD, but that's about it. KU has some very wealthy donors, including Phil Anchutz, who's worth twice what T Boone Pickens is. I don't foresee money being a problem. I think our AD has said even they won't be "T-Booned." This Final Four is timed quite nicely for Self's bank account, though. Now if the NBA comes calling, there might be a problem. I personally don't think Self would thrive in the NBA, but I think he'd be interested, especially if the Oklahoma City team was inquiring. I also can't see Gillespie being interested. He's at freaking Kentucky, for God's sake. Tubby maybe, I guess. Minnesota isn't much of a basketball school, and OSU has a nice history, but I think the Cowboys will likely end up with a Chris Lowry or Xavier's head coach.

Ahh, damn, you're right. I'm thinking of the guy that shaved his face until he bled. I always attribute that line to him for some reason, and Ive been corrected before. well get your act together, you're making a fool of yourself

We did have a "Peering Into the Future" core requirement.

    Oh, wow. That's awful. I saw him play in person for both UK and Louisville. That's really too bad. Hardly knew there were professional leagues in Africa. There are.     We're definitely the betting underdog, and, after the way we played against Davidson, I think some people expect us to get steamrolled. But really, I think there is a lot of homer insecurity on both our parts. I was called on it on it at Lee Elia's Playground, and the guy who called me on it was right. There's no reason to think KU won't win, just as there's no reason to think UNC won't. It really is a coinflip scenario. If we can apply the Clemson model, I think we have a good chance of winning. If we're not prepared to get back on D and rebound, you'll win. It should be a tremendous game, and I'm really intrigued to see what Self has planned. As a former Roy team fan, we all know what he'll do. Roy doesn't change a whole lot based on the opponent. He trusts his players and his system and believes if it's run properly, it will win. So we know what Roy will do. I'm curious if Self tries to run, if he tries to bog it down or what. I was really happy with how he coached that Davidson game. The box and one saved us, and I never thought he'd do it because he's so anti-zone. But God bless him, he schemed it in, and it won the game. UNC will be much tougher to stop. So many weapons.

    I'll never forget the party on campus when we beat AZ to get to the FF a few years ago. Absolute insanity on the hill. UNC is a dream matchup, to my mind. To win it, we should go through Roy. It's a high-risk, high reward situation. It'll feel great to beat Roy/UNC, but damn, they are clicking.

    Hope you're right. Based off the EE performances, KU is #4 of the remaining teams. I think the pressure is off, though. We'll be the underdogs in the FF; I think we play better that way.
