I've heard some good things about the six freshman coming in. It'll be interesting to see if they can start rebuilding the program since theyll all be together for so long. However, I won't be surprised if Anderson isn't around to see them graduate. He needs to make the postseason (even NIT) sometime within the next two years or he's probably gone. I am not sure how good the South will be either. Texas will still be solid, but not near as good as last season. Texas, OU, and Baylor will all be pretty good, IMO. Not title contenders, but ranked teams, unless they've lost players and I forgot. I can't remember who aTm lost and who they have coming in. Nebraska has a shot at being ok in the North. OU has been getting a lot of top-10 love this preseason. Willie Warren, Blake Griffin and Tony Crocker is a pretty good threesome, along with that UCLA bigman transfer whose name I can never remember (ryan wright?). The timing is right for us to make a deep run in the big 12. Yeah, I'd be pretty surprised if you guys didn't win it this year. The only reason you might not is you guys have the significantly tougher South schedule. If Self gets the baby Jayhawks in order and can rack up wins vs the North, we have an outside chance. I'm excited either way because for the first time since the Hollis Price years, OU fans are discussing basketball and football. It's been lonely the last few years with no one giving a damn about the program. well i still don't give a damn about your program.
