  1. Will that be part pf the Big XII/Pac-10 Throwdown or whatever the hell it's called, or is this separate? Regardless, that's good news. I'd love to get UK, Duke, or UNC regularly on the schedule, too. Not sure, it could be since the UCLA-Texas home-and-home for the Big XII-Pac 10 ends this coming season. I foresee a Raisin/Snood man-date to Pauly coming up. I'll try not to gloat too much when we win.

  3. Ben Gordon might be available at the 2. Isn't he a FA or something like that?
  4. DeRozan Or Jennings. Blake Griffin? He'll go high, I assume, but could he go one overall?
  5. I don't think you can include Nene on that list. Also, Big Country was pretty good for a few seasons. He just got fat and injured. My favorite Big County memory was his last (I think) college game, which was played at Allen Fieldhouse. He'd never gone scoreless in his college career, but that night, the Greg "The Big O" Ostertag, totally shut him down. Zero points. The crowd was going bananas.
  6. I've heard some good things about the six freshman coming in. It'll be interesting to see if they can start rebuilding the program since theyll all be together for so long. However, I won't be surprised if Anderson isn't around to see them graduate. He needs to make the postseason (even NIT) sometime within the next two years or he's probably gone. I am not sure how good the South will be either. Texas will still be solid, but not near as good as last season. Texas, OU, and Baylor will all be pretty good, IMO. Not title contenders, but ranked teams, unless they've lost players and I forgot. I can't remember who aTm lost and who they have coming in. Nebraska has a shot at being ok in the North. OU has been getting a lot of top-10 love this preseason. Willie Warren, Blake Griffin and Tony Crocker is a pretty good threesome, along with that UCLA bigman transfer whose name I can never remember (ryan wright?). The timing is right for us to make a deep run in the big 12. Yeah, I'd be pretty surprised if you guys didn't win it this year. The only reason you might not is you guys have the significantly tougher South schedule. If Self gets the baby Jayhawks in order and can rack up wins vs the North, we have an outside chance. I'm excited either way because for the first time since the Hollis Price years, OU fans are discussing basketball and football. It's been lonely the last few years with no one giving a damn about the program. well i still don't give a damn about your program.

  9. The Big XII North is going to be...not good next year. It's probably the best year for KU to be rebuilding, though. I really hope Anderson and McDermott can start retaining their good players. Mizzou was pretty good when I was in college thousands of years ago, and that rivalry was so fun. I'd like to get back to that.
  10. That and name me a jump shooter on that team. They didn't have a pure shooter on the team, but they had a few guys who could hit an outside shot. (Kemp, CDR, Mack, and occasionally Taggert.) CDR actually shot over 40% from three. But yeah, they were much more dangerous driving and slashing. Hey snood, why the hell did a team draft Sasha last night? I mean there is no way he can give up the big money he was offered over seas to play here. I dunno. I was wondering if they somehow retain the rights to him, so they'd essentially use his time in the Russia as euro-training or the equivalent to NBDL? Otherwise, it seems like an waste of a pick, not that there was much left on the board anymore.

  12. I don't think the Columbia YMCA has a draft. They do. He wasn't picked. lol

  14. quit stealing my expert analysis
  15. deandre jordan should have stayed in school.
  16. His game has changed substantially. He drives to the rack and rebounds like a madman. It was good to see him tap into that potential.
  17. Jeebus. I wonder if those reports about Arthur having kidney issues are true.
  18. Arthur has really fallen in this draft.
  19. Hickson, NC State. Is he any good?
  20. Are you gonna be laughing when your boys draft Koufos?
  21. No Arthur or Chalmers yet. I thought Arthur would be gone by now.
  22. He'll be a great addition. Athletic, a great leaper. Learning to really shoot it. Very thin, but not soft.
