Jock hit the ball hard twice in the first game, twice in the third game and had nothing to show for it (I didn't see the second game). he had another line shot caught by Edmonds last night. usually four line drives and a few grounders results in a couple of hits. even in the fourth game, with all the Ks, he used up a ton of pitches, helping Carpenter to his early exit. but even if the booing was out of line, the Cubs fans redeemed themselves by cheering him on when the count was full, then wanting a curtain call. you compare that with Neifi, three hits in his spot start, none of which were hit hard enough to rightfully have gone for hits.
