Lorenzen signed with KC for $7M, vesting option for $12M 2nd year. Quality pick up the Cubs rarely do.

What has Poles done to develop trust in the organization? I mean, seriously? If they want Johnson but it's some package deal. Take Johnson and wish Poles the best on his next opportunity. -
They seem to be taking this seriously and weighing all the options. If we get some rando saying they saw him at Starbucks in Wrigleyville we know this is serious.

I don't think the Cubs are going to go after Max. Jed likes value and Max doesn't offer that. I could see him doing a Clemens and signing with some team around July.
