    The Barons use to be an AAA team. Their stadium is huge. Generally, a good place to see a game. There is a really good local brewery right across the street, Good People. I saw Bryant play a game there when he was with Iowa.

    It's Bowden, but he seems to think the Angles will trade Ohtani and make a hard bid to resign him in free agency. I'd hate to see the Cubs deal out a bunch of their top prospects and then see him go back to LAA.

    Or mismanaged or both. but, yes, at the end of the day, the talent is what the numbers say it is.

    This is such an important draft for Poles. There are still so many question marks, not the least of which is, do they really have a franchise QB? Poles almost has to go protection, targets, and then defense even if it means a slight reach in the early rounds. They can't go into another season with a bad OL and iffy receiver corps. They can work on upgrading the defense later in the draft and early in the next draft.

    Boy, Holliday is off to an incredible start. Baltimore is building a dynasty if the pitching develops.

    No Cubs baseball at any level today really sucks.

    Ross needs to change a lot of things. Letting Madrigal bat at the end of the game was an obvious error. Regardless, it was a low-probability outcome either way, but you needed an XBH there.

    Seriously, it makes no sense. How is not having developmental leagues going to help this prospect? What in the world does perception have to do with anything? I don't fully understand the difference between the complex leagues and extended spring training. I'm not sure just playing baseball is that useful for development, so I don't know how I feel about the situation. However, it seems like not a huge cost for owners and may result in a diminished game, and longer development time.

    This game is the first game this this year I’ve watched on TV that was at Wrigley. All the ads everywhere you look on the field is really distracting and tasteless.
