    It's a correlation not equaling causation. You can likely do that for all the starting players.

    There are no rules except for the ones they make; they can do whatever they want. They are all just greedy bastards. The league could have a revolving stadium expense fund and require teams to repay their loans over 10 years or whatever.

    This entire process has been so indicative of the inequality of our society. The Bears and the NFL can pay for the stadium with cash if they want. It's not a one-time payment. Building costs are incremental with the work completed. Or the Bears could get a loan from the NFL and finance it. They don't even need to go outside of the league. Instead, they want the people to pay for it. It's all horsefeathers.

    There are a lot of bright spots in the minors, the team is really struggling to score runs right now. I don't expect that to be forever this year. Let us hope they don't dig too deep a hole before they come out of this.

    They were on an unconscious tear earlier and are now hungover (or hun’over as one of my college roommates used to say). All they need is a couple cups of coffee and some Advil and they’ll be right as rain.

    I’m in San Francisco for a conference and went to oracle park. I’m in love. What a place to catch a game.

    My family use to go to the time trials a lot in the 1970s. I was obviously just a kid but it use to be quite wild. Streakers, people getting FOBAR everywhere. It was a spectacle before the spectacle. My favorite driver was AJ Foyt and I got a picture with Mario Andretti.
