You know what the best part of the game was, IMO? The some of the new talent on showcase during the second half of the game. For the AL: Grady Sizemore Evan Longoria Ian Kinsler Carlos Quentin Joakim Soria Scott Kazmir (Although he didn't look very good and that appearance may cost him) For the NL: Russell Martin (I know he isn't that new, but I think he really opened some eyes) Adrian Gonzalez Dan Uggla (Although that performance could possibly ruin him) Carlos Marmol's slurve. Aaron Cook (okay maybe not) Ryan Ludwick (Even if that catch was kind of a sham great play) I enjoyed seeing these guys play hard because they were playing in on of the first first few all-star games in their respective careers and it meant something still. I enjoyed the show, which must mean Bud Selig's mind tricks are working.
