i'm curious about what the sixers are gonna do down the road. they haven't signed iguodala to a long-term deal yet, and turned down a $57M offer last year - a decision which was pretty questionable. thaddeus young showed a lot for a 19 year old last season, but he profiles as a small forward. speights, if he pans out, will be a true power forward, and dalembert is the center - albeit a rather soft center on the offensive end. iguodala cannot play the 2; he just isn't a good enough shooter. not many teams have cap space this offseason, but the FA class is pretty weak. the biggest need is a 2-guard, but who is out there? i could also see them bringing in a power forward. now that billy king is gone (good riddance to signings like kenny thomas and greg buckner), i can see myself getting somewhat interested in the sixers again.
