Knowing our luck, the next three outs will be a diving catch in the outfield, a dive at a line drive that hits off of the glove of Crede but stays up long enough for Cabrera, and a leaping catch by old man Dye at the wall to rob ARam. lee, Ward and ARam will be on base, then edmonds hits a line drive that ricochets off lee's face, then Ward's face, then is caught by alexei ramirez, who tags the two unconscious baserunners to end the game. lee and ward die shortly thereafter.

real classy fox, brennaman is saying nice things about santo, and they put up a graphic about the ASG and pump up the music. so brennaman has to stop talking about santo and plug the game instead.

it doesn't matter if you're a cub fan or a sox fan? i'm pretty sure that sox fans hate ron santo with a passion.

nice hit... everything the sox are touching turns to gold lately. at least with their bats; their starting pitching sucks though.

believe it or not, the start of the daytona game is being delayed by rain. hard to believe that thunderstorms could be a problem on the florida peninsula in the late afternoon. -
We only have 1 in the pen, and I dont want to see him any time soon. yeah i forgot the fat guy was not available

see what happens when you stick with a guy who struggles early? sometimes he settles in and you don't completely blow out your bullpen. keep this in mind the next time a guy gets knocked around for 3 runs in 2 innings and everyone is crowing for lieber or someone else.

not a great outing by sean, but he managed to patch together 5 innings and hold the cubs in the game. let's be honest, this sox offense is pretty scary right now with how they've been swinging the bats lately.

i love it, nibble until you have to throw a strike. why can't guys throw tough but hittable pitches on 0-2 and 1-2? throwing the 2 garbage balls that 95% of the league will never swing at is one of my biggest pet peeves in baseball.

why would you ever think that he'd have a juan pierre-like strikeout rate? he K'ed at a rate of roughly 100 times per season in japan, and that was in fewer games.

that wasn't even that bad a pitch. like i said, a lot of the guys in this lineup are just swinging hot bats right now.
