  1. I don't see how either of those thing will change how the team is playing right now. Doing nothing isn't working either. If you can explain how randomly firing a manager or firing the hitting coach is going to make them play better be my guest. Perry stopped being a good coach last tuesday!!! Get him out of here!!! he was a good coach, but he stopped trying and lost focus.
  2. That at bat underscores my point. It's like they don't even want to try. And why is there a giant stuffed Pikachu along the wall behind home plate? they're just slumping and not seeing pitches well right now. or they're professionals who have collectively decided to stop trying, i guess either one is possible.
  3. They should of let Z pinch hit. At least it'd lessen the tension. I'm actually like half-serious. Z is a better hitter; i'm actually mostly serious.
  4. speak for yourself, i'm at work. well i suppose that is a waste of a saturday night, but at least i'm getting paid to waste it.
  5. You can't hold back such amazing comedy. i wonder if he realizes that he's replying to irritate someone who generally doesn't read his posts. good job wells, someone pick him up now.
  6. i can only assume that my joking post prompted cyno to update wells' ERA after every out. my apologies, nsbb.
  7. i'm wondering if this team could hit richard gere right now.
  8. update? 1.20 ERA HORRIBLE keep us posted next inning, maybe he can give up some more runs.
  9. welp there goes melo
  10. i'm wondering if i could take the hill for the cards and put up an ERA in the 4's.
  11. It never woke up, it just had a nocturnal emission. classy post

Like a career 0.00 ERA pitcher, frankly. i'm sure that will last given his peripherals. he is faring well as a back of the rotation option, however.

  14. here's the foul trouble situation: nuggets: entire starting lineup minus billups lakers: nobody
  15. that's the thing that drives me crazy about the lakers. they get the calls at home, which i don't mind so much because everyone knows the refs cater to the home team in the nba. but when they go on the road there's either neutral officiating or they keep getting calls.
  16. the flyers are royally boned, salary cap-wise. they probably need joffrey lupul to go away.
  17. an update on this league - someone dropped ludwick (overreaction to the injury, but whatever) and granderson (what the hell?) and i picked up both of them on waivers. so now my offense is: C Napoli 1B Carlos Pena 2B Kinsler 3B A-Rod SS Rollins OF Kemp OF Ibanez OF J. Upton Util Granderson BN O. Hudson BN Manny Ramirez BN Ludwick
  18. he completely lost it the last month. i guess if they're in contention and don't want to play him then it's the best thing for him - though not for you.
  19. sent down to the minors. dump him.
