hey you senile old man, when your starting pitcher hasn't been that effective (6 hits, 4 walks in 6 innings) and has thrown 105 pitches, you're down a run and the starting pitcher is due to lead off the next inning, that would probably be a great time to lift him for a pinch hitter. -

i feel like dempster is gonna give up a walk and hit and then be lifted for another pitcher, making the decision to keep him in even more stupid. hopefully i'm wrong.
