Kyle Farnsworth had a ton of movement on his pitches. Farnsworth's FB was straight as an arrow, he flashed a good slider at times but it never developed into an out pitch, and had a so-so 3rd pitch (lack of control splitter). He threw such a high % of FBs that were high velo straight FBs with up and down command, I don't see how one can say he had a ton of movement on his pitches. they move really fast over the fence once the batter makes contact with them.

could've been a body contact foul on singler there. should be an exciting end, as long as duke doesn't drill a three on this possession.

usually they do call it that way on breakaways, as the outcome looks ugly because of the speed of the play.

like i was saying, between the moving screens up high and basically standing in the lane shoving and reaching over people on the offensive boards, zoubek has to commit about 30 fouls a game. i have no idea how he doesn't foul out all the time. he's the white reggie love. Yeah he sets illegal screens every time. He either moves to hold the guy a second more or he raises his elbows/steps into the screen to knock the guy down. when he sets screens at the three point line he starts out legally, but then he pretty much takes the two defenders and pushes them toward the baset while one of the other white guys spots up for a wide open three.

the third foul call was a joke. howard has been getting screwed by them not calling over the back properly on the duke players, but that's part of the game. you have to just shake it off, not start flailing around wildly beneath the basket when you need to not get that fourth foul. he seems to have no handle on his emotions. they pretty much have to put him back in when they're in big trouble or right at the end of the game, because you know he's going to foul out pretty much right away.

haha zoubek pushed howard right in the back and howard gets the foul. hilarious.

i feel like zoubek would have 35 fouls a game if they called over the back and moving screens properly.
