almost certainly no. and it's unfortunate for him, because he might have been a candidate if not for the way paterno's term ended. now i can't imagine they'd hire from within, because even if bradley didn't know anything about sandusky's indiscretions he did see the guy walking around a lot, and was sandusky's immediate successor. the washington post reported they contacted mike london (UVA coach) before firing paterno, but he doesn't seem to be interested, and he denied the report unequivocally. i'm sure urban meyer's name will be kicked around. a lot of people used to think that they'd hire someone who had spent time at psu as a coach previously (al golden, greg schiano) but because of the sandusky thing, that seems a lot less likely now. personally i'm pulling for rich kotite.
