  1. if the rams are drafting #2 and not trading out to let another team get blackmon or rg3, they had better take matt kalil. unless they are actively hoping that sam bradford dies on the field.
  2. yeah well good luck with that. everyone in the nfl wants a guy like that and when they get them, they don't tend to let go (unless they're a dick, like brandon marshall)
  3. would the bears be interested in desean jackson? i'm 95% sure he'll be leaving philly (badmouthed the coaching staff, which is more or less a ticket out of town) and he's quite clearly a big play receiver. Pass. The guy is undersized though very fast and hes a headcase. Jay needs a big target WR. he's not really a headcase, just kind of a dick. now what do you mean by "big target WR?" a guy who is a big play threat and possession receiver too? good luck with that. calvin johnsons and larry fitzgeralds don't grow on trees, and their teams tend to lock them up long term. if you want a big target who isn't that good there are probably some of those available.

  5. for a former #1 overall pick who plays in a huge market i think he's weirdly underrated. i don't put him with brees, brady, rodgers but i'd say he is right there with the next group (rivers, romo?, stafford?, vick). i guess i'd go #5 right now - brees/brady/rodgers in whatever order, then rivers, then e. manning. After the year Rivers just had I would put him ahead of Rivers IMO. But I would still put Peyton ahead of both of them. i have no idea what to do with manning because he's old and injured. plus he's just not going to put up vintage peyton manning numbers any more because his team is awful now.

  7. and a small wiener.
  8. go niners
  9. vitters' plate discipline improved? he struck out less this past year, but his walk rate was even worse than the previous year. i guess it's nice to hear that he recognizes this as a problem area and is working on it though.
  10. what's the story? someone i know just ranted about it on facebook, saying they'll never visit a pizza hut again unless it's with a crane and wrecking ball.
  11. great so my hope for the giants to not make the super bowl rests on the fighting cubbiebums.
  12. but how do i know when to clap my hands without dj casper there to prompt me????
  13. sometimes referees just make mistakes without it being a leaguewide conspiracy** **note - does not apply to nba
  14. hey maybe cover hakeem nicks in the second half
  15. it's going to be fun seeing sulley completely melt down during a game not involving a chicago/illini team.
  16. it's because mccarthy's a [expletive] weirdo cocky piece of [expletive] How about the defense can't stop a [expletive] nosebleed? I actually liked the call. also presumably they saw something on the game tape with the giants not looking ready for an onside kick. not a bad play if the kick is good and the giants aren't ready for it.
  17. that is putting it mildly. he walked 77 batters in 77 innings his junior year of college.
  18. more importantly, did tebow update his facebook status after the game and if so, how many people were liking it per second?
  19. The most limited of those weapons being his arm. lol
  20. yeah, those people were morons who were stuck in the past.
  21. yeah those historic old cathedrals from the 13th century aren't really pretty and nice to visit in 2012 because they weren't changed or refurbished for 800 years.
  22. wtf? I watched more of last year's crappy team than I care to admit, and I don't remember this being a problem. meatballs always think that lack of fundamentals and hustle are what's wrong with bad teams. every team makes baserunning errors and has a couple of sluggers who loaf it a bit on routine ground outs, but i think when the team sucks people tend to notice these things a lot more than when the team is winning 100 games.
  23. if i were darwin barney or sean marshall (since traded) i'd be insulted that bums like dewitt and colvin were pictured ahead of me.
  24. that ricketts comment (about going to starbucks) is pretty funny.
