  1. the fella at the next table? does bob newhart go out to nice restaurants by himself?
  2. [bbvideo=560,315]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8zCdw22g0k[/bbvideo]
  3. i'm going to interpret as you having public sex at the actual parade.
  4. i'm sure they're bummed, but if i were in their position i'd have some confidence going in with an excellent starting pitcher who had already won two games, plus two excellent relievers who can pitch a minimum of 4 innings. there's reason for both teams to feel like they can win tomorrow, which is why the odds are basically a coin flip.
  5. i've seen numerous current and former mlb players tearing into him on twitter. it seems they hate him as much as us fans do.
  6. i feel like i will have to call out sick/drunk from work tomorrow.
  7. he's thrown 60 pitches in 3 days. that's not nothing, and if he's needed to throw 2 innings tomorrow and pitches poorly, it will be very fair to question his usage tonight. If you know of a place where I can bet against Chapman pitching poorly over 2 innings tomorrow, you let me know. i'm gonna guess the odds of him pitching poorly tomorrow are higher than the 1 in 1000 odds that the cubs blew a 7 run lead in the 9th inning.
  8. having joe west umpire a world series game is like if the cubs decided to start brian matusz or that buchanan guy in the world series.
  9. he's thrown 60 pitches in 3 days. that's not nothing, and if he's needed to throw 2 innings tomorrow and pitches poorly, it will be very fair to question his usage tonight.
  10. the indians have a 1 out of 1000 chance of winning the game. literally anybody else can close this out, and i'm including position players.
  11. well now chapman pitching the 9th would go from really really stupid to pants-on-head stupid.
  12. the indians have less than 1% of winning this game. put someone else into the game.
  13. the indians have a 1.4% chance of winning this game. i don't mind using him there, but now the likelihood that you need him to throw 40 pitches tomorrow night is a lot higher than the likelihood that strop, rondon, edwards, wood, and grimm allow 5 or more runs in the last two innings.
  14. that would be 6 strikeouts in 8 hitters if joe west could do his job properly.
  15. I predict that if we strike out 15 times every game and allow 2 home runs and 4 RBI to the Indians' worst hitter, we will not win this series.
