What Will Furcal Get?

Considering what we've seen so far this offseason what do you think Furcal will get?

 

edit - I think he gets 5\60 from someone (maybe not the Cubs).

40M/4 is overpaying for Furcal. Can anyone justify that from his stats and previous contracts? Nope.

 

He fills two holes (leadoff and SS)? What kind of bs is that? If Dusty wasn't an idiot, we'd have more than a .300 OBP leading off last season. A better option was certainly available (Murton).

I agree with everything you wrote. So what do you think he'll get? What do you think he's worth?

He'll get a 1 yr deal worth 1.25 mil with incentives that can push that as high as 1.6 mil. Club option for year #2 at 1.5 mil (1.75 with incentives).

 

Heck, I voted for less than 4/40 (4/36-38.), but I'm quite sure he'll get twice that now that I said it...
