I don't regret that decision. Based on his preformance here you had to let him go. He was awful.

Yes he was awful. However, if you released every Cub pitcher who pitched poorly during a one-to-two week period this year, Prior would have to become the second coming of Old Hoss Radbourne.

 

I do not fault the Cubs here. Every team in the majors had a chance to trade for Borowski when he was designated for assignment.

Exactly. I always liked JoBo, but he had no stuff left, we had no choice but to let him go. Hopefully he can keep AL hitters off balance for as long as he did NL hitters.
