Peoria Chiefs Jersey Auction - 8/11

The Chiefs will be wearing black-and-silver Metallica jerseys (I'm trying to find a jersey picture to post) and auctioning them off during and after the game on August 11. Proceeds benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

MAKE AN OFFER: A jersey signed by Kerry Wood during his rehab stint in Peoria will be part of a live auction after the Chiefs game on Thursday at O'Brien Field.

 

Additional player jerseys to be auctioned live include Sean Gallagher, Grant Johnson, Eric Patterson and Ryan Harvey. Another uniform top signed by the team will also be up for bid.

 

Other jerseys will be available through a silent auction during the game.

 

I think last time they auctioned off jerseys, the minimum starting bid was $75.

 

I'm planning to be at the game, so let me know if you want any more info.

I like the idea of a team signed jersey. The Jaxx sold 3 team signed Scout jerseys earlier this season. If memory serves correctly they sold cheap.

I think because of the silver? I do have a hilarious mental image of what these jerseys COULD look like.

 

Which is why I'm trying to get ahold of an actual picture before the day of the auction.

I was hoping they would look like the road jerseys design-wise (with the Peoria on the front).

I saw a commercial on tv for these, but was on the computer so I only caught the end and missed the date they were doing this. Should be awesome. I wish I was going now, I would've been all over it, but stupid Serena sold me stupid tickets to see the stupid Cubs.
