NPR: Box Seats and Relativity

As a physicist and a Cubs fan I found this short commentary on npr amusing. It is only a few minutes long and might be a nice distraction compared to how they have played lately.

Very interesting. Although the commentator, Mr. Freeman, blows it at the end. The Cubs have NOT gone 96 years without winning a pennant. They won it last in 1945 - a mere 60 years ago. They went 98-56 and lost the WS in seven games.

Yeah he did goof that part, but it was nice to hear the basic tenets of relativity in terms of a Kerry Wood fastball.
