Currently the AL west has four teams and the NL central has six teams as I am sure everyone knows. Do you think the NL central gets an easier or harder ride with the way the current schedule is arranged than the AL west does. The reason I ask is all of the croonies at ESPN seem to berate the strength of the NL central divison unless they are talking about how wonderful St. Louis is. If there is an advantage/disadvantage in one of these divisons due to the divison heavy scheduling then why hasn't baseball tried to rectify this with an attempt to move an NL team to the AL so that all the divisons have the same number of teams.

Sorry if the question seems sort of muddled but this has been one of the things that has really bugged me in baseball over the past few years( outside of how the Cubs perform of course).

.

To speak to this point, you can't have 15 teams in each league. If you have an odd number of teams, one team is always not playing, or there would always have to be an interleague series playing all year.
