It looks like Conor Jackson was called up to play on the uneven side of a R/L platoon at first base, also with a converted pinch hitter. the only redeeming thing is at least the D'Backs pinch hitter is having a great year. And while Dubois & Murton are talented guys, the D'Backs Conor Jackson is 10 times the prospect either of them ever were.

Called up 7/28, D'Backs have had 5 games, he's started 1 (4ABs) and has pinch hit in 2 of them (1 officiall AB)

If I was a D'Backs fan I would be '](*,)'

Apples to oranges.

Although Tony Clark only has a little over 200 atbats, when he does play, he is the third-best offensive 1B in MLB right now. He ranks behind only Lee and Pujols.

If I were a Dbacks fan, I'd be happy with the platoon.

On the other hand, there's no excuse for Todd Hollandsworth getting playing time over any young player with promise. Todd ranks near the bottom of the barrel of LF's offensively, and he's below average defensively.

Yes, but don't forget that Hollandsworth is an experienced veteran. Granted that his experiences have been mostly mediocre, but there you have it.

speaking of conor jackson, think how young and good the dbacks offense could possibly be in a couple years with Jackson and Quentin(my two favorite prospects in all of baseball), Drew, Santos, Hairston, eventually Upton
