Burnitz?

I would like to see him return next year. I don't see why not, unless he's looking for big money. He's played pretty well defensively and put up alright numbers. Am I in the minority here? I haven't seen a lot of support for this.

Agreed. He's done exactly what I thought he would do. Put up decent, but not great, numbers all year. He's a huge improvement over Sammy in the field, and he's starting to walk a lot more than everyone else. Unless a much better option comes along, lets see if we can bring back Burny for another year.

Depends on who the rest of the lineup consists of. I think we can say for sure we will have Lee, Barrett and ARam in the lineup next year. If there aren't any upgrades over this year's lineup, then no, I don't want Burnitz out there. I'd like to see Walker still at second next year. We really need to make a pretty big improvement at either LF or CF to keep Burnitz in RF, in my opinion.

If we get Dunn, I'd like to see Murton in RF next year. If not, I guess we could stick with Burnitz in '06.

I wouldn't sign him for more than a one year deal, but I would really like to see him back next year. He's tough (doesn't get injured), he plays hard (legs out doubles and singles), he's a strong left-handed bat and a good team player, and he plays really good defense (especially with his strong arm).
