Someone in the dunn thread mentioned this.

 

She said they recalled Kearns. Which could mean he's taking Dunns place after they trade him. More likely it means he is taking the place of stormy weathers, who will probably go on the dl.

 

but now freel too? Maybe freel is going to replace weathers, and kearns is replaceing dunn.

 

Maybe they are sending someone else down.

Kelly and Machado were on the 25 man roster, they had to clear 2 spots for Kearns and Freel. Therefore, Kelly and Machado werre claimed and the spots were opened.

Weathers claims his back wasn't seriously hurt and expects to be available to pitch tonight.

 

Something's going down in Cincinnati though, they wouldn't have brought Kearns up and dumped GM-fave Anderson Machado unless they were ready to open a full-time spot for Kearns. Somebody (Dunn or Wily Mo) is getting traded.

 

With the Cubs' luck it'll be Dunn...to Houston.

I seriously DOUBT Junior is going to the Yanks. If there is ONE team Junior holds a grudge against it is the Yanks. I don't know how they treated his father when he was a Yankee, but Junior has stated several times, he won't ever play for the Yanks, and has used they way they treated his father as the reason why.

 

So I highly doubt it will be Junior to the Yanks.

In other words, when he had his choice, he chose not to play for the Yankees. Now that he's seen what languishing in last place is like he's more open minded.
