I found this comment on tonight's game amusing.

This was in the ESPN recap of the game tonight....for some reason I found it funnier than it probably is.

 

"I've been hit this hard before. I've never given up that many home runs, though. They were even hitting home runs foul. It was like I was throwing watermelons up there and they were Gallagher," Claussen said, referring to the comedian known for splattering melons with a sledgehammer.

That is a good comment. Anytime someone can get a Gallagher reference into an interview, I give them props.

Good for Claussen. I like guys that don't try to hide it when they know they had a bad night. Tossing in a Gallagher reference demonstrates his range.
