Video time.

Here's closeup footage of Johnson warming up. I'm pleased with how it turned out, especially since I've never used that feature before (12.1 mb):

Here's the view from my seat of one pitch (3.7 mb). I have a longer clip of the same quality at about 30 mb, but I won't put it up unless people want it:

And JonMDavis, I'm positive I saw you at the game. Do you have a pic of yourself? I'm going to the game tomorrow as well.

And do you think you could host a video if I send it to you?

ha ha, good times. My favorite was when Clammy Sosa ate a kid dressed as a batboy.

yeah that was pretty funny too!

Not handy right now, but I was wearing a Cubs home hat and my Zambrano jersey t-shirt.

And yeah, depending on the size.

BTW, when they showed the Cubs game, like the only two plays were of the first two batters of the game and then Barrett's DP the next inning.

Were they wearing the flag jerseys as a part of a charity auction? In addition, did anyone actually buy one?

I didn't hear any mention of them being auctioned off.

Oh yeah, I saw you walking around all over the place. You looked confused LOL. I didn't even see you with a camera.

Anyways, my video is about 8 MB. That's too much, no?

I also so Neifi botch a bunt with 2 on and nobody out, just before the Barrett DP, really set the tone for the game that was on the field.

Another thing is it was such a wierd crowd. So many people were wearing Cubs stuff, but than rooting for the Cougars. It was a wierd rooting for the home team against the home team thing.

Funny exchange

Announcer "Now batting # 4 second baseman, Eric Patterson"

Person 1 "Oh yeah that's Corey's Brother, of the Cubs Corey Patterson's brother."

Person 2 "Oh really"

Person 3 "What"

Person 1 "that's Corey Patterson's brother"

Person 3 "His name is Corey too????" (I was like WTF)

Person 1 "No, it's .... I don't remember"

Eric fly's out

Person 1 "Way to go Patterson, you hit like your brother."

Confused, eh? I'm always confused. If it was before the game, I was probably waiting up front by the dugout and trying to keep busy by looking around. Didn't help much.

8 MB is fine. Can you email it? If so, send it to Jon at JonMDavis.net (I took out the @ for security reasons/automated spiders searching for email addresses).

And if I don't have to hear Sponge Bob Squarepants again, I'll be quite happy.

I was at the game Section 111 behind home plate, i think I was near Grant Johnson's parents - she was the only person that clapped when they announced his name and when he was getting shelled she looked a bit nervous.

I was kind of bummed that Grant Johnson didn't have a better outing. I also blame it on the wet mound. :)

He has a bright future ahead of him, though.
