Garland/Felipe Lopez for Prior

I'm in a league with some friends of mine, and I'm killing everyone. It's not even close. So I like to propose trades for the hell of it, most times on a whim. Sometimes I propose the trades, and the other team never declines it. I look at it like a week later and I say "wtf was I thinking?"

 

Anyway, I proposed this trade the other day, Felipe Lopez and Garland for Prior. Basically the reason I did it is because I've never had Prior before, and I've been trying to trade Garland all year, thinking he's going to fall off. Obviously, he probably wont, at this point, but still PRIOR.

 

Anyway, this trade, coupled with putting Ollie on the DL allowed me to add Prior, Wood and Haren.

 

Prior/Wood/Haren>Lopez/Garland?

Why would you trade 2 allstars for Prior?

 

I traded Garland about a month ago figuring he would tail off.
