All of Southisene, Lumpuy, Lovich, Cepeda and Derrick Alcántara are now batting .200 or higher, which is quite the accomplishment considering the holes some of them dug themselves into to start the season.

Cole Mathis, Caleb Kilian, Ben Leeper, Koen Moreno and Yander Maria all got into the box score plus a bunch of 2025 draftees (Kepley, Snell and Stransky).

Kepley, Snell, and Stransky are clearly WAY too advanced for the ACL, and so I would expect all three of them to be moved up to Myrtle Beach (if not South Bend) very soon. Also, Cole Mathis looks pretty healthy (he has been on the Myrtle Beach IL for almost three months), and while he was the DH today (Saturday), he has been taking grounders at 3B(!), and so he should be back at Myrtle Beach very soon, too. Even Ed Howard is taking BP and grounders at SS.
