I don't really pay attention to our minor league system or even read the minors forum. So some honest questions:

How do his stats compare with the rest of our pitchers at the same level? How big of a loss is this? (Assuming he gets released)

 

And he seems to have decent numbers (looking at them from a major league eye) ... Why didn't he ever get past A ball over his 7 years in the Cubs system?
