MWL Semifinals, Game 2 (South Bend leads the series 1-0): South Bend at Great Lakes, 5:05 p.m.

Iowa: RHP Trevor Clifton

South Bend: RHP Derek Casey

Iowa goes up against Forrest Whitley. Hopefully they don’t really regret getting walked off after leading in extras in Games 1 and 2

Fortunately Whitley was a mess for the I Cubs, getting four runs off him

 

Unfortunately Clifton was a dumpster fire for the I Cubs

 

10-4 Round Rock in the 8th.

 

Nice surprise season took place in Des Moines this year. Will be kicking themselves for the blown leads in extras in games 1 & 2 in this series. However could be equally interesting to see what this roster, especially the rotation looks like next year
