Richan strikes out three in the first. Allowed a bloop single. FB mostly 92. Didn’t get a good look at any secondaries.

 

And he struck out 2 more this inning. Looked like a solid change and curve.

Davis still hasn’t gotten back into a game since having to leave a few nights ago. Hopefully it’s just the organization being overly cautious rather than him sustaining any kind of injury.

He wants to trade Javier Báez to make space for THE Zack Short.

Short quietly got to .236/.358/.431 after hovering close to .200 a few weeks ago. He still puts lots of balls in the air and plays SS. He must really be believing in himself just in time for summer. I want to believe he can step into the role after a Baez trade.

 

I was going to mention that post earlier, but was like "Why even bother? It's ridiculous".

 

Baez is one of my favorite players of all-time and will become a Cubs legend...

 

Zach Short is one of my favorite "oh yeah, I know that dude" players of all-today.
