I generally don't like going back and mocking people for expressing opinions that turn out to be wrong 5 years later. then again, someone wanted to sign Fielder, which is pretty hilarious.

It's all in good fun, all of us say stuff that turns out to look stupid in hindsight. The only true mockery is people that said something that even at that time was ridiculous and then over time the ridiculousness is confirmed.
