OTOH Isaac Paredes continues to be the pride of the AZL lineup and possibly this IFA group so far - 2/3 through 4+ innings tonight. He's had 17 hits and K'd just 4 times over 54 PAs since striking out five times in a game. 7 of his 11 Ks came in the first 4 games of the season.

It's nice to see him doing well. It's still uncertain, perhaps unlikely, he sticks at SS, but for a stateside 17-year-old (who doesn't turn 18 until February) he's acquitting himself quite nicely of late.

Leathersich to AA.

He looks like another one of those 'if he can find the plate, he could be really good'' type of guys. But going by his 4.9 BB9/15.3 K9 over his minors career, if he can find the plate, he could be really good.

.309/.365/.397 after a 4 hit night last night

If you look at a who's who among IFA bats, guys succeeding stateside at 17 are often the most legit so this guy hitting so well is a pretty big deal. Depending on how he finishes he is the IFA most likely to make my top EoY top 30, POSSIBLY even 20 or 25.

Indeed sir. Now let's see if he can keep it up. I'm rooting for him.
