eloy suffered some kind of injury yesterday. according to some guy on twitter, it's regarded as minor and he should be back in a couple of days.

And is Pierce Johnson still "struggling," or is he at the point where he's considered just plain bad?

I was a Johnson fan. At this point, he's a guy we can take off the 40, as far as I'm concerned. But my guess is they'll give him a shot in the pen first.
