Dammit. AZPhil confirmed that Jose Albertos has been shut down for the rest of the year. I hate pitchers.

Hopefully he won't need surgery.

Now if only we'd get news on Oscar De La Cruz too.

Mid-90s curve? Yowza. I know Thor throws a mid-90s slider but didn't realize there was such a thing a mid-90s curve. Come on blister!! :beg:

Cease... SMH. horsefeathering pitchers. I don't bother getting excited about any so-called "pitching prospect." I'll believe we have a for-real pitcher in the organization about, oh, when he's still throwing like a stud & is Arb 3.

Asked to be taken out sounds like a see you in 2018 kind of thing.

McNutt

Maples

We're like Drew Peterson for high end pitching prospects.

Given how mediocre Stinnett and Sands have been, how bad Steele has been and how Cease got hurt again, it's especially annoying seeing the Cubs' top second round target, Jack Flaherty, doing well in the Cardinals system.

Whatever, Flaherty is a pitcher too.
