maybe we should throw all of our games against the cards. i'd much prefer to let a mediocre team into the playoffs instead of the likes of the mets or dodgers.

Cardinals are better than the Mets and Dodgers but okay. Only on here is a team with the 4th best run differential in baseball "mediocre".

Concepcion had a good outing today, and that was the true victory.

 

Remember how bad he was when he first signed? I'm amazed he looks like he could be a serviceable Major League reliever.
