I feel like there is a ton of writing on the wall to call up Willson this September for some "seasoning". Then, next year, allow him to slowly work under Montero's wing to continue to fine-tune his game calling/framing/etc at the MLB level. Montero seemed to really love the kid during his rehab stint (last year, IIRC)? I think it's a perfect formula if they don't truly believe he's ready defensively - which reports indicate.

 

Plus, Ross in inexplicably a juggernaut this year so it's not like it's a dire need or anything.

 

All that said it may be a totally different perspective come July/August depending on how things play out (which probably could go without evening saying).
